Do you need a Registered Agent?

If you do not have a physical location (PO boxes are not acceptable) in the state in which your business is registered, you must designate a registered agent to accept documents on your behalf. State Department  requires a contact person for your business within the state at all times.

As a U.S. business law; you must, at all times, have a registered agent available to receive legal documents during normal business hours.

Can you be your own Registered Agent?

Yes you can. It is possible to serve as your own registered agent if you meet the required criteria.
